School Spirit

UCLA’s Beat ‘SC Bonfire Rally

I’ve always loved UCLA, but going to the bonfire yesterday to celebrate the rivalry between USC & UCLA, watching all the sports highlights, & seeing the massive crowd of Bruins definitely boosted my school spirit. I feel incredibly lucky & privileged to attend such an amazing school with such memorable traditions!

Even more so, I decided to bring my camera to school to photograph the foliage around North Campus. It’s pretty much the only indicator of any sort of change of season. Juliana & I were talking about how we’ve been having a pretty disappointing & sad week, but just walking around & seeing where we are & how beautiful the foliage is just makes us feel better.

I wish I lived in California and went to FIDM or UCLA.
A part of my family live in LA and the last time I visited them was back in 2008. I’d loooove to go back. Better yet, I’d loove to live there.. Now I live in a small town in the Netherlands near Amsterdam, go to the Amsterdam Fashion Insitute and join ballet class at the local “arts centre” :(
Hopefully I’ll live in London or LA sooner or later (when I get older).

The foliage is gorgeous even if it is the only sign of seasons changing. :)

OMG, you have inspired me with an amazing idea! I have never been to a bonfire so next summer I’ll be hosting one! That’s really cool! I’ll invite all my friends and family :) Do you have any ideas of activities for us to do? LOL!

I wish I lived in California… it truly seems like a lovely and vibrant place to live! Ohio is very boring!

Speaking of schools… I’m proud that I’ll be graduating from Kaplan in 4 months. I really enjoyed the college experience, however, I’m probably going to choose another school. I never imagined an associate’s degree costing $33,000.00! That’s way too much debt for me!
