For my 22nd birthday, I had a small dinner at Bar Toscana with some family & friends. So grateful to those that actually showed up since everyone else bailed on me. When I don’t have much in my fridge, my favorite noodle dish to whip up is Bibim Naengmyun. This Korean spicy noodle dish is served cold, making it perfect for California’s warm weather. I made mine with avocado, sesame seeds, pickled radish, romaine lettuce, & a hard boiled egg. I’m really proud of the sauce, which I’ve perfected. What can I say, noodles & sauces are my forte.

I’m delighted that I’m slowly gaining more followers on Bloglovin! I better make a new theme & take more pictures if I want to keep this up.

I recently participated in a fashion show for a fundraiser & found a bit of time to edit & upload all of the pictures. My mother actually purchased one of the dresses for me–the white cocktail dress from Jacky Tai’s Black & White Collection–as the proceeds will go directly to the fundraiser. I insisted that she didn’t have to, but she insisted that it’s for a good cause. I have the best mom in the world!!

Soleil (translates to sun), a French-Canadian restaurant in Westwood, did not disappoint at all. Their poutine was filling & delicious. Their pumpkin ravioli & creamy sauces were flavorful without knocking out your taste buds with a blast of cream & salt. On the weekends, they have bottomless mimosas for $15! Those French-Canadians really put the best twist on fries. I’m really glad Alex was game to come try this restaurant out with me when he came to visit me in Westwood!

Spring is almost over & summer is finally approaching. My birthday (May 30) is almost here & I’ll be turning 22. Although I’m still in my early 20s, I can’t help but feel like I’m going to be 30 before I know it. Ahhhh time, slow down. Well, at least the weather is starting to really warm up. I’m really in need of a Vegas pool party; dancing to EDM with beautiful people & soaking up the warm weather, what better way to relieve stress? Unce unce unce unce unce.
