Book Binge

Thanks to Goodreads, I’ve been inspired to constantly update my progress with my New Year’s Resolution & personal goal to read 40 books this year. Thus, I’m on a huge book binge. I can’t seem to stop reading. Although I have thousands of eBooks,–in ePub format, the best format ever, in my personal opinion–I recently bought some books I don’t have in ePub format. These new books include: The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene, Brida by Paulo Coelho (author of The Alchemist), Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, & The House of Spirits by Isabel Allende. I don’t even know if I’ll finish these books this year on top of my current reading list!
At the beginning of this quarter, I finally got my hands on the white iPhone 4S. A huge step up from my old phone (purchased in 2008), which was the G1 by Google, an Android phone. Huge thanks to my wonderful parents for spoiling me rotten. ♥ Now I have an iPile consisting of an iMac (not pictured), Macbook Pro, iPod Classic circa 2008 (not pictured), iPhone 4S, & an iPad. The latter has promoted my book binging to another level.

I just made a good reads account, I’ve been getting books on my tablet like crazy. Lol. I’m getting the iPhone 4 soon. I really need to upgrade from my 3gs. I want a MacBook, and I have a Toshiba tablet, so I dont really need the iPad. Those books look good. I may get some of them.
xo.

Oh really? Be sure to add me!! I’m always on the look out for books friends are reading to see what they like/dislike. I hope you get a Macbook Pro in the near future!! They’re amazing.
Mine is 2 years old & still works just as well as it did the first day I got i! I also put in 8 GB of RAM so it can handle more crap I throw at it. Best decision for my MBP ever!
Looks like a nice collection of books you have there!
I’d like to buy myself an iPhone 4 for my birthday
The Macbook Pro looks pretty sweet too!
Enjoy

Thanks! I really hope I can get to them, I’ve read really great reviews about all of them. When’s your birthday? I’m told that the iPhone 5 is coming out this summer, so you might want to hold out until its release!
Wow nice book collection there! I also love reading books very much, just like you. I’m currently reading Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. But I like reading paper books more than eBooks, I don’t know why. And I would love to have iPhone but I don’t have enough money ![]()
I’ve added you on Goodreads. I just made the account

I was just telling someone yesterday how I too have that book (in ePub), but I haven’t been motivated to read it. Tell me if you like it though. It’s a classic, so I should probably read it eventually!! I love reading actual books too. It’s just probably this culturally engrained feeling of intelligence or productivity when you’re reading the written word & flipping pages. I read books faster on my iPad though haha & it’s convenient to read with in the dark or in bed when you’re laying sideways. However, I do absolutely love the printed word, which is why I bought those books!! haha.
Those books look pretty interesting. The covers are really nice. Good choice! And wow, you’ve got a lot of iThings huh?

I know right?! The covers are gorgeous. I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but come on…am I right? Who wants to be reading an ugly book? Well, jk some books have beautiful covers but really bad stories…although they look nice sitting on your shelf.
Tons of iThings!! Don’t think I’ll be needing anything else .. ever..ahah
OMG BOOKS. I love books! I just added you on GoodReads. I had no idea you had a GoodReads account! Now we can share books with each other. Well, not really share, but see what the other has read. Brida looks like an interesting book. I’m gonna look up the sample on my nook.
You’re all Appled out! I’m still debating whether to go iPhone and stick with Android. The Samsung Galaxy SIII is coming out this month, and it looks SO slick. It looks so beautiful. O_O I dunno, lol. I upgrade in Nov, so I have a couple of months to figure it out!
P.S., do you have a twitter?

haha yeahhhh I’m totally Appled out. iThings galore! I had an Android & I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I just think the apps for the iPhone are a million times better & they run better too. If you have an iPod touch & you really enjoy it, that’s pretty much the same as an iPhone except you can make calls & text people (although you can text people with the iPod touch too haha). So, I hope you make the right decision for you! I think the iPhone 5 is coming out this summer, so you have choices!! It’s going to be 4G too!!
OMG! BOOKS! <3 I want to read Brida by Paulo Coelho too! (I hope you'll make a book review about it)
I added you on GoodReads!
