Little Sprouts

Here’s an updated post on the progress of the herbal terrariums I made for my mom. Be sure to click the picture to view more. I’m really excited that the herbs are sprouting. We’re celebrating my parents’ 27th anniversary today & although the herbs aren’t ready to use, they’re germinating! Good to know that the first time I’ve ever tried to grow something, they didn’t die. I planted a mishmash of herbs in each terrarium, so I couldn’t tell you which of the herbs are growing right now if you asked. Check back later for more pictures from Europe.

I’ve always wanted to buy a little terrarium and grow something. Looking at your photo reminds me of doing that lol
Ahh they’re sprouting. So cute! Happy anniversary to your parents too!!
Awww the sprouts are really cute! :3 It’s so nice of you to plant them for your mom!
My mom’s a big gardener and she plants all these strange Chinese plants in her garden haha.
Happy Anniversary to your parents!!!! 27 years is really something worth celebrating ^_^ <3
They’re cute!
It kind of reminds me of when I was in elementary school, growing some kind of seed…Keep updating us!
Whoa, those little terrariums are so cute!
They look like the catnip I was trying to grow for my cats LOL.
What can you use them for?
I feel stupid for not knowing a thing about herbs lol, but my mom loves them! I’ll probably try growing some for her!
Happy 27th anniversary to your parents! That’s big. ![]()
Did they do anything special, like a date?
Eeeep, cute lol.

You use herbs to cook with. I planted basil, chives, dill, oregano, & others that I don’t recall. I planted them in an off season though, however, because I live in Southern California & it’s indoors, they still ended up growing since..well California has no weather! hahaha. I thought catnip was just some sort of meat ground up. That’s interesting. Or the little cookie things that they manufactured for them.
My parents threw a huge dinner party at our house. Sooo no special date. They’re weird & just like celebrating with company rather than just themselves.
Awww, the little sprouts are adorable! My dad loves plants; he’s the one with the green thumb. I’m horrible with plants and flowers. They always die on me, unfortunately.
Ah, that’s so cool! I want to grow my own now too!
