 Fantasy Roll from Ami Japanese
|
For those on the quarter system, winter quarter starts tomorrow. Winter break really flew by fast! At least I was fairly productive this winter break & had a lot of fun. I totally accomplished my goal of reading 5 books! HIGH FIVE in the voice of Borat.
I uploaded a few new albums to the gallery. Really putting my camera to use.
New Albums
I hope those of you who had winter break had a good one & I wish you all the best of luck as the new school quarter/semester/trimester/whatever begins.

House Pan Roast with Okra from The Boiler
|
My parents weren’t kidding when they told me that my 20s would fly by before I knew it. Just a few hours ago, my mom asked me when I was going to get married since I’m almost older than she was when she married my dad. Wonderful. Anyway, I can’t believe it’s already 2012! Time flies; better make the most of it.
 Celebrating the New Year!
|
I celebrated New Year’s Eve in Vegas (making it the fifth time this year…) & went on a food adventure all the way to Chino Hills to experience the deliciousness that is The Boiler. I now only have 5 days left to finish my last book, Choke by Chuck Palahniuk if I want to finish my goal of reading 5 books this break! Hopefully everyone had a great time on New Year’s Eve!

Eggs over easy, scrambled eggs, spinach salad, & a soy Polish sausage
|
Transitioning from eating meat to just seafood isn’t so bad when you’ve got great delicious soy alternatives! They’re about the same price as the real thing or a bit cheaper, so I don’t really buy too much of it & stick with tofu for my protein needs.
 Jap Chae
|
A while back, I made Jap Chae, a Korean side dish. Simple, delicious, & easy to make! I’ve also added more albums containing food & explorations of LA.

Days 97 through 140 of my failed Project 365. CLICK THE PICTURE to see days 97-140.
|
I have a bunch of other pictures I need to sort through, so these are not the last of my P365! These were from September through October of 2010, so don’t mistake them for being recent. I’ve also updated the gallery yet again. I seem to always forget to upload pictures I take at Kabuki, but they are all up now.

 Seared Tuna from Midori Sushi
|
Our advisor, Dr. Pao, took Patrick & myself out for AYCE sushi at Midori. I’m almost positive the dinner will keep us hunger-free for 24 hours. In addition, I’ve added two new albums & a Recipes section where I will place all of my recipes. I’ll be able to add more later, there are tons of recipes I’ve been meaning to add!
