Soleil (translates to sun), a French-Canadian restaurant in Westwood, did not disappoint at all. Their poutine was filling & delicious. Their pumpkin ravioli & creamy sauces were flavorful without knocking out your taste buds with a blast of cream & salt. On the weekends, they have bottomless mimosas for $15! Those French-Canadians really put the best twist on fries. I’m really glad Alex was game to come try this restaurant out with me when he came to visit me in Westwood!

I’ll add tons more updates after my Anatomy midterm on Monday. Eek…wish me luck!

First off let me wish you the best of luck on your midterm! 🙂 I used to hate taking Anatomy midterms in high school and the huge reason why is because anatomy was difficult like learning a second language when you’re an adult. So when the midterm came, I knew about 5-10 answers out of 100 or so – the rest I just guessed on 🙁 Sad, very sad.
Those french fries and toppings look great! Never heard of it but I love mushrooms and the others look really delicious! Glad you posted pics – maybe I can find some here in KY. 🙂
Have fun and good luck again!

Hah! That’s how I felt on my last chemistry midterm…oye. It is really sad, honestly, it’s just so humiliating when you’re given a test that tests you on material you THOUGHT you understood, but you really don’t.
If you can’t find a place where they sell poutine around KY, just make it yourself! No big deal: mushrooms, gravy, pepper, & fries. Boooom, poutine. & cheese!
