It was the day before the wedding & we were ready to explore Bogotá. Up first on the itinerary was a trip to the Museo de Oro, which was really fascinating. The collection of gold the museum had & the price to get in to see it all was astonishing. Brett got a freshly cut mango from a vendor outside the museum, which was 1000 pesos – roughly $0.38. Afterward, we went down to Plaza de Bolivar & explored a bit. Josh & I were hungry to try La Falsa Puerta, a restaurant featured on one of Anthony Bourdain’s many TV shows. It was worth the trip, the man simply knows what he’s talking about. Best tamale of my life.
