In the morning, we went to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam. After being basic tourists (see jumping photos for reference), we drove into the Van Long, the inland Halong Bay. We got rowed around, hiked up a mountain, & then had lunch. It was absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of largest wetland reservations in Northern Vietnam & a highly protected area for obvious reasons – it’s beautiful. Emerald waters for days, y’all! Afterwards, we went to Hanoi & had dinner at a seafood restaurant.
