Ingredients

  • 1 serving of dried somen
  • 1 sprig of scallions, sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 cup ponzu sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 Tbsp mirin
  • 2 Tbsp nori flakes
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Bring water to a boil & add the somen in. Cook for 3-5 minutes, accordingly to the package. Drain the water & place the noodles in cold water with ice cubes to cool.
  2. 2. In a dipping bowl, mix the ponzu sauce, honey, salt, water, & mirin. Set aside later for dipping.
  3. 3. With a fork or chopsticks, fish the noodles into a bowl & top with nori flakes, ginger, garlic, & scallions. Mix your noodles & dip with the sauce.
