Kaitlen, Mercedes, & me

Now that I’ve signed a lease for a place in Westwood, I can stop stressing about couch surfing at my brother’s & enjoy the rest of my summer until school begins. Lots of projects I need to finish before school gets out of control though. Not going to bore you with my to-do list, so here are a bunch of pictures from Europe.

Pad Thai from Nahm

This post features pictures from my latest albums all taken in England in Brighton & London. I had the pleasure of meeting two wonderful bloggers who live in England: Becca of ThisMonster.org & Faye of Bonkers.me. I’ve known both of them for quite some time & it was really exciting to finally meet them after years of friendship. Pictured above is Faye’s plate of Pad Thai. It was her first time trying Thai cuisine at a Michelin star restaurant to boot & said she really liked it!

Venice!

My study abroad program in Brighton is sadly over, which means my adventures in Europe are over…for now. I’m vowing to return to Brighton to see the things some of my peers got to see–such as the countryside & Sussex castle–that I didn’t get to see. Although London was my favorite city to visit on the weekends, living in Brighton for 8 weeks felt like a home away from home. I never wanted to leave! Still in denial that I’m back in the States & that it’s all over *cries*.

Layout update no one cares about other than me: Extended the banner, added new pictures, extended the content area. Decided that pictures henceforth these albums shall be 780 by 517 pixels. Should’ve done this before I went to Europe though…oh well. Still have the originals for all the photos.

The Roman Baths

You guys…I have some trivial first world problems: too many pictures to sort through & not enough space on my laptop to store the originals. WHAT DO I DO?! I should’ve brought my external hard drive. Guess I’ll have to buy a USB stick capable of storing at least 10 GB of things. Or buy 2 with 5 GB memory. What the heck is taking up so much space on my laptop?! Whatevs, onto Europe stuff.

The first session of my study abroad program is over already. I haven’t received a grade for my Harry Potter paper yet or for the class, but let’s hope I earned an A.

Less talk, more pictures. Here’s a ginormous photo dump for you to browse through to promote lingering for longer than 5 seconds. Hover over the images for a caption.

Sara & me at Eton College

Olivia & I went on a tour to Stonehenge, Bath, & Salisbury Cathedral yesterday & counted the number of pictures I took. Just from that day alone, I accumulated 610+ pictures. I haven’t even gotten to the Oxford pictures we took on Saturday either. This is probably the most my camera has ever been used within two weeks. Talk about one of my best investments of 2011. All right, just like last time, I’ll post a few random pictures so you’ll stare at my website for longer than 5 seconds. Hover over the pictures to see a caption.
