Alberto invited me to dine with him & his roommate Camila & their neighbors Lexi & Derek, & Camila’s friend Olivia at a little secretive EBO Pasta Night Pop-Up! Oysters, lasagna, canoli, & wine, what more could you want from a Soprano/summer Italian vacation-themed event? (Honestly, more vegetarian-friendly options would’ve been nice, but I suppose one doesn’t sign up for these pop-up alerts if they don’t eat some kind of meat other than oysters).
Gabrielle, Sam, & I had a nice brunch at Burro Bar in South End before Gabrielle temporarily moves to California. We’ll miss you Gabs, but we’re coming to visit anyway.
Our roommate Alex was leaving us to move in with his partner Melissa so we had our last supper as roommates at Little Donkey. It was John’s & Priyanka’s first time, but definitely won’t be their last time!
Diana & Steven drove a few hours to visit Htin & me while I was visiting California. They’re the truest MVPs & I’m so lucky to have them in my life. Went out for lunch to my favorite restaurant Sushi Koto & then back to my parent’s place for a proper Jacuzzi Sunday. For dinner, my mom made baked salmon wraps. The next day, Htin took me to his favorite fried seafood place.
Alberto & I took a ferry to Hull for Cara & Erik’s engagement BBQ party. Afterward, my roommates picked me up on the way to travel down to Island Creek Oyster in Duxbury. I forgot to turn off my camera at the BBQ so I completely drained the battery by the time we got down to ICO. Such an amateur mistake.
